Haven’t you heard? Lady Gaga is officially engaged, and the man who’s captured her heart (and put a not-small ring on her finger) is her partner of several years, financier Michael Polansky. Polansky is a longtime associate of Sean Parker—like, first-president-of-Facebook Sean Parker—so he definitely knows how to comport himself among the uber-famous set, but the fact that he’s not a performer himself makes this a perfect match of Hollywood glamour and a more down-to-earth energy.
If there’s one thing Lana Del Rey can be relied upon to do, it’s pick a non-famous yet confusingly handsome boyfriend. She and her new beau, Louisiana-based alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene, made an appearance at model Karen Elson and Electric Lady Studios owner Lee Foster’s nuptials in New York on September 7.
Seth Meyers and Alexi Ashe
The Late Night host and his wife of 11 years first met at a wedding (specifically, that of Meyers’s former Saturday Night Live castmate Chris Kattan), and are now the parents of three children. Apparently, Ashe, a human rights attorney by trade, is no slouch in the comedy department: “My wife is sillier than I am, so that makes me laugh a great deal. I make her laugh, too, but I also make her not laugh, and that’s when I know it’s time to retire something,” Meyers said in 2020.
